  • Mass of approximately 121,000 kilograms
  • 24.5 metres blade length
  • Rotor diameter 52 metres
  • Normal rotation speed 24.5 rpm
  • 2.5 m/s minimum wind threshold for blade rotation; 23-25 m/s maximum
  • Stopping mechanism: blade pitch and back up hydraulic brakes
  • Approximately 500 kilowatts power production in winds of 11 m/sec
  • Total cost including project development and installation: $1.8 million CAD
